We signed up for this course because we were going to be in Southern California for Christa's baby shower on Saturday March 29. On the way to Ventura we stopped in Simi Valley for a visit and lunch with Barbara and David Burde.

Next stop was Ventura, CA, our home for the week. We stayed in the Ventura Crowne Plaza, an Ocean front hotel convenient to downtown Ventura and a short walk from the Ventura Pier.
