Endymion has one of the largest parade Krewes, one of the largest parades with the biggest floats and hosts a party in the Superdome which we attended. Even the entertainment is top notch with this year's bands being "Kiss" and "KC and the Sunshine Band". Tuxedos and Gowns are mandatory.
After a very nice dinner and a few drinks at the open bar we watched the first of the Marching Bands come into the Superdome followed by a few Endymion floats. The noise level was extremely painful, made even more so by fireworks inside the Dome. I'm not sure how other participants were able to endure but we left after Kiss and KC and the Sunshine Band entered the arena. The air outside was quiet and peaceful. Our friends Blaise and Cathy joined us for a short walk back to our hotel.
