On Sunday June 7, 2015 we boarded a British Air flight to London from Raleigh. This is a strange flight in that it is listed as a British Air flight operated by American Airlines. I was just happy that we could drive to an airport 15 miles from home and fly directly to London. The flight was incredibly smooth and we were well taken care of with free wine and a hot dinner. I had the chicken which was of course airline food but since it was an 8:30 PM flight and we had to leave home at 6:45 PM it served as dinner for us. We awoke the next morning in London where Heathrow is a huge and complicated airport. The monitors showed that we arrived in Terminal 3 and our next flight, the flight to Zurich, was in Terminal 5. This involved a lot of walking that seemed to go on for miles and a Heathrow terminal to terminal bus trip. We also had to go through security again which was a lot more thorough than our TSA experience in the States. (We are classified as TSA-pre in the US which is a relaxed standard).
